The DC Fashionista June Meetup- GET NOTICED NOW!

During the May meetup we had several new fashionistas with awesome ideas that I
am looking forward to incorporate into our group. It was great to have many of
you getting involved.

To be able to accomodate our guest speakers and our fashionistas under the age of 21, we have decided to change our date and location for June. I would love to have all
of you there and enjoy the networking.

Our June ,meetup theme: "GET NOTICED NOW!" - We will be having a panel of
experts who will teach you how to get more exposure and get the media to notice
you. This can be applied to many things besides fashion. Look forward to great
ideas and tips whether you are a model, photographer, do hair or make-up...there
will be information for everyone! More information on our panelists soon to come...

PLEASE NOTE:
***DOORS OPEN at 7:30pm. THE SEMINAR WILL BEGIN at 8:00pm.
***There will be a $5 networking fee. 100% of the networking fees will be
donated by the The DC Fashionista Group to The DC Fashionista Foundation which
will provide Fashion Scholarships and Micro-Lending to fashion entrepreneurs in
third world countries through www.kiva.org
DRESS CODE IS FASHIONABLE AND CHIC - No tennis shoes, no athletic wear
allowed

individuals will have 30 seconds in which to tell us about YOU! This is your
time to shine and tell us who you are, what you love and who you would like to
meet!
As always and in every meet up..WE WANT TO GET TO KNOW YOU a little better :)
Please bring your portfolio and/or pictures or whatever shows what you do or
want to do in this industry. If you just love fashion and you are not in the
industry yet but would like to be, then please share that with us so we can help
you get started!!!!

paper if you want to make sure you don't miss a thing.
