Who
- All of those who want to get involved in fashion events in the area..this includes fashion shows, photo shoots, seminars, and a whole variety of fun projects.
Why
- You should join us because our group is a great mix of fashionable and down-to-earth kind of people. We stay focused on our goals at hand. Many of us have found great friends in this group and will be very happy to have you be part of it !!!.

HELLO MY DCF's!!
Our April meetup was very informative and fun! We had a great turnout.
Our May meetup theme:
"THE KEYS TO A SUCCESSFUL PHOTO SHOOT" - Look forward to great ideas and tips whether you are a model, photographer, do hair or make-up...there will be information for everyone!
Also, more information about how to become an ELITE DC FASHIONISTA is coming your way, so be on the lookout!
PLEASE NOTE:
***DOORS OPEN at 7pm. OUR MEETUP WILL BEGIN at 8pm.
***There will be a $5 networking fee. 100% of the networking fees will be donated by the The DC Fashionista Group to The DC Fashionista Foundation which will provide Fashion Scholarships and Micro-Lending to fashion entrepreneurs in third world countries through www.kiva.org
***BECAUSE OF THE VENUE, THIS MEETUP WILL BE 21 & OVER.DRESS CODE IS FASHIONABLE AND CHIC - No tennis shoes, no athletic wear allowed. It's imperative that you and/or guest adhere to this dress code .www.theparkatfourteenth.com
***Street parking is very limited. THE PARK is only half a block from McPherson Square Metro Station (blue/orange lines).
***Seating is available but limited so come early to find a great spot.

*** YOU IN 30 Seconds! ? Upon arrival, please leave one business card at the front desk. We will randomly select 5 business cards. The five selected individuals will have 30 seconds in which to tell us about YOU! This is your time to shine and tell us who you are, what you love and who you would like to meet!
As always and in every meet up..WE WANT TO GET TO KNOW YOU a little better :) Please bring your portfolio and/or pictures or whatever shows what you do or want to do in this industry. If you just love fashion and you are not in the industry yet but would like to be, then please share that with us so we can help you get started!!!!
***PLEASE COME READY - Don't forget your business cards!!! and of course pen and paper if you want to make sure you don't miss a thing.
