Think that films and TV shows like The Golden Compass, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Young Sherlock Holmes, Brazil, Wild Wild West, Around the World in 80 Days, Howl's Moving Castle, and The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. speak to your heart about how fashion and decor should look?

Perhaps you're a gamer and are highly influenced in your own fashion sense by the citizens of Ak'Anon, Gnomeregan, Klak'Anon?

Have a fascination with both the beauty of steam-era engineering being cross-designed with Victorian, Western or other historic fashion?

Then The Society for Chicago Steampunks is for you.

Ideally, we'd like to meet once a month - if there's nothing steampunk-related happening (ie. release of 'Golden Compass') then it'll be for lunch or something. Always open to suggestions...!
